Members of the board: L. Michael Hall, Ph.D. Dr. L. Michael Hall is an entrepreneur who lives in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. As a psychologist he had a private psycho- therapeutic practice for many years, and then began teaching and training- first in Communication Training (Assertiveness, Negotiations, Relationships), then in NLP. He studied NLP with co-founder, Richard Bandler in the late 1980s and became a Master Practitioner and Trainer. He wrote notes for the trainings at Bandler's request, edited Time For a Change. As a prolific author, he has written and published more than two dozen books including The Spirit of NLP (1996), Dragon Slaying, Meta-States, Mind-Lines, Figuring Out People, The Structure of Excellence, Frame Games, etc. In 1994, Michael developed the Meta-States Model while modeling resilience and presenting the findings at the International NLP Conference in Denver. He has hundreds of articles published in NLP World, Anchor Point, Rapport, Connection and The Meta-States Journal. Michael is the co-developer, along with Dr. Bob Bodenhamer, of Neuro- Semantics having co-authored a unified field model using the 3 Meta-Domains of NLP. They initiated The Society of Neuro-Semantics, and have begun to establish Institutes of Neuro-Semantics in the USA and around the world. Bobby G. Bodenhamer, D.Min. Dr. Bodenhamers under-graduate degree (BA) is from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC (1972). His major at Appalachian State University was Philosophy and Religion with a minor in Psychology. He received the Master of Divinity (1976) and the Doctor of Ministry Degree (1978) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. The Master of Divinity Degree included training in Pastoral Care with both classroom and clinical work. Dr. Bodenhamer received one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education from Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, N. C. while working on his doctorate. His marriage to Linda now spans 35 years. His NLP Practitioner's Certification comes from L.E.A.D.'s Consultants in Reynoldsburg, OH, Dr. Gene Rooney, Trainer. Dr. Bodenhamer's NLP Master Certification and Master Time Line TherapyTM Practitioner Certification came from Tad James, Ph.D. of Advanced Neuro-Dynamics of Honolulu, HI. Additional training has been received from NLP conferences. Dr. Bodenhamer has approximately 1500 hours of formal NLP training. He teaches NLP in the Corporate/Community Education program at Gaston College. Dr. Bodenhamer received his certification as a Trainer of NLP from Tad James, Ph.D., Advance Neuro Dynamics, Honolulu, Hawaii and Wyatt Woodsmall, Ph.D. of Advanced Behavioral Modeling, Inc., Arlington, VA. As an International Master NLP Trainer, he offers both certified training for Practitioners and Master Practitioners of NLP. He serves as a training and therapy consultant for corporations and he has a private NLP Therapy practice. Dr. Bodenhamer has served four Southern Baptist churches as pastor. He is presently serving as pastor of a mission church called Christ Fellowship Community Church. His time in the pastorate spans 30 years. All of his pastorates have been in North Carolina. The Institute of Neuro-Semantics is approved by The National Board For Certified Counselors to offer continuing education activity for National Certified Counselors Rie Anderson,M.A., LMHC, NBCDCH Rie Anderson received her B.A. and M.A. degrees in Consulting Psychology from the International College of Los Angles, CA. She is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and has had a private therapeutic practice for the past two decades. For the last 30 years she has been an avid student, teacher, and researcher in the Field of Human Behavior. Her expertise and training covers the fields of Transactional Analysis, Family Systems Theory and Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Neuro-Linquistics Programming (NLP), Meta-States and Neuro-Semantics, Emotion Free Techniques (EFT) and Life Transitions - Death and Dying with Dr. Kubler:Ross. She received her Practitioner and Master Practitioner Training in NLP at a time when the teaching Staff consisted of David Gordon, Robert Dilts, Todd Epstein, and was lead by Drs. Richard Bandler, John Grinder and Leslie Cameron Bandler. She received her Accelerated Master Practitioner Modeler Certification and Trainers Certificate from Dr. Bandler. She served on the Staff and Board of Directors of Discovery - The Gestalt and Humanistic Institute of Tampa Bay - for a decade. Selling her interest in this Institute she founded Aim for Excellence, Inc. and has served as its President since 1985. While contemplating retirement she heard Dr. Michael Hall, a Cognitive Psychologist, present a workshop on his discoveries from his exhaustive research of the works of Dr. Richard Bandler, Dr. john Grinder, Gregory Bateson, and Alfred Korzybski and made a decision to join in the teaching/research/and sponsorship of the Neuro-Semantics movement. She is certified by the Society of Neuro-Semantics as a Trainer in Meta/NLP and Neuro-Samantics.
